It's s....ds law that the one Saturday we are unable to access the church for surgery we have a queue of people asking where we are. Very sorry everyone but I did turn up at 10.15 am but all had dispersed. Hopefully we can pick up the pieces next month. Anything urgent please phone Bernie or me at the various numbers publicised.
This week is going to be busy as we are having to go to London to present our case for Christchurch and East Dorset councils in partnership to a panel who have short listed us for an award. This is the second this year so what we have achieved is being recognised by others. Last time we fell at the last hurdle but were still commended which I suppose was a bit disappointing although it is significant that we were chosen from hundreds of applicants. Lets hope we do better on Tuesday, all a bit nerve racking really. I walked round Druitt gardens yesterday dodging the hailstones, still work to do but what a difference and what a contribution to the town centre. Well done to the Ward Councillors for following this one through to completion.
