The start of the holiday

After seven months and at five days a week, I decided to close my Council involvement down and start my break (man flue taking it's toll). My final function was a gathering of Officers and Members in the Council chamber where I delivered my Christmas message. I think it went down very well, certainly different but still highly relevant in these troubled times. The best thing was that we all left as partners, quite an achievement in politics and with so much going on. So MERRY CHRISTMAS to all who are interested enough to read this blog(now nearly five years old!) and a joyous NEW YEAR. Stay safe over the holiday and I'll be back on line first week in January.
