No rest for the wicked! Today begins with a review of all my lead members roles and an assessment of how we are going to deliver our manifesto promises in the next four years. With 21 Conservative Councillors all raring to go there has to be some semblance of management and organisation. Already decided was for us to assess all the issues raised by residents during the front door election process and to see how they relate to those included in our pre-election literature. Fortunately my team came up with the answer of how this can be done quickly and efficiently and a whole Conservative group brain storming session arranged for early next month. Should be a fascinating day! Further meetings to do with residents concerns generated from our Saturday surgery meant the day passed constructively and not without some successes.
This job can be very satisfying!!!
