What a week!!! (Monday)

An eight thirty am start in my Council office together with my business managers to review actions taken and needed in respect of CBC business. This together with new challenges which crop up on a daily basis took up most of the morning. Particularly relevant was the work being undertaken on the Local Development Framework, this includes the potential urban extension at Roeshot and the implications to the Borough. This massive project is now well on the way following extensive resident consultation which resulted in thousands of responses. These have now been collated , analised and will form a significant part of the presentation to the public later on this year. Meanwhile the project continues to concentrate on a vision of Christchurch for the next twenty five years designed to maintain all the benefits of this wonderful place whilst taking on board all the new challenges of population increase and such. Big work indeed. The day passed in a trice!!
