I was asked to stand in for Lucy Filer and Gillian Geary both conservative candidates for Town Centre at the recently held 'hustings' at Druitt Hall. There a question was asked of the new CCOTLP candidate as to what his vision was for Christchurch and what would be his policies be to achieve that vision. He answered that he would decide what to do after he spoke to the community. Hmmm! a bit late in the day for that thought I, especially as the election is only a couple of weeks away. But, it concentrated my mind as to what we in the Conservative groups vision would be and surprise surprise there it is in our manifesto under 'key priorities'. This will be delivered to your door this week, read it and see the difference having a vision makes!
