It's that time again! !

I cannot believe that four years has passed so quickly but it's that time again when we enjoy (is that the right word?) what our forefathers fought for, our democratic right to vote for those to represent us and to measure what has been achieved in our ancient Borough. For Purewell and Stanpit I think we have made a real difference and over the next six weeks or so I will be covering item by item those areas that I think are significant. My mantra has always been 'its working for the community that gets the community working' and I can honestly say that our community has responded with a great deal more involvement than existed previously. It is not an easy task to turn 'cynicism to contribution' but I am delighted to say that right across our ward I can see residents contributing and setting standards for their neighbourhoods. I hope to be able to continue with this work and will be taking our successes to the electorate over the next few weeks. I might include some areas where I think we could have done better!!!!!
