PACT meeting on Thursday night
Another good meeting last night, well attended and very constructive. Apart from the important issues of speeding, which will be a constant worry but against which we have made real progress, we tackled head on the issue of social housing, fire protection for the home, parking in Purewell and touched on the news that someone had been fined £900 for a dog litter offence. Not, I have to say in Christchurch but certainly in the Poole/ Bournemouth area. A good exchange and contribution from all parties culminated in a round of applause which must be a good thing. No mention of anti-social/crime and disorder stuff which reflects the latest figures showing Purewell and Stanpit as among the lowest rate of incidents in the Borough. My what a change from three years ago!
