Stanpit Fireworks

I am getting complaints about the annual firework evening on Stanpit recreation ground. Can I ask that should you have real concerns about this event and have not already contacted me to drop me an e mail or comment on this blog. I would like to get a feel of what residents think about this event and their experiences, good and bad.So far concerns raised are to do with disturbance to wildlife, residents and the residual condition of the recreation ground as a result of the fire. We have to remember the charitable connection with this event and that it is clearly very popular with people from all areas of the Borough. Anyhow let me know what you think and let me have some constructive ideas. Many thanks.
