Purewell traffic order for a reduction of parking places.

This matter has only just reached my desk even though traffic order notices have been posted and residents have complained directly to CBC. For some reason the system was not robust enough to advise the ward Councillors at an early stage and this deficit is subject of considerable pressure from me.That apart I have serious misgivings about opening up this road in order to maintain a bus timetable and am working with the local PACT panel in an attempt to make alternative proposals more in keeping with the residential and commercial nature of the area.I have a number of concerns about how this matter has been handled and the total lack of community involvement at an early stage. At this stage I want to keep my powder dry whilst I get opinions from residents and businesses and see how the PACT panel and Dorset Police (Christchurch) regards increasing the speed of traffic along this road.I will blog at a later date but ask if anyone has a concern to contact me through this medium, e-mail,phone or letter.
