Not in my neighbourhood week, great success.

We are now three days into our week of activities and I do hope you will have seen all the team working hard in Town Centre on Monday Bailey Bridge on Tuesday and today at Sainsbury's. Tomorrow they are at Burton Green and at Highcliffe (Cliff Hanger) on Friday for the finale. Homewatch has been represented by a cluster of dedicated volunteers led by Bernie and Barry and our outreach operation MAYO has been doing splendid work explaining how their early intervention with kids on the street is paying dividends.CBC community safety team is coordinating the whole week and Christchurch Police much in evidence with CPSO's Beat officers regular attendees. Top Christchurch Policeman man Insp Lance Cliff changed a very busy schedule to be with the team today and did his bit giving out the fridge magnets, free pens and literature.I was also delighted to see Twynham Housing Association well represented and all our CEO's, what a great team! I have to say how proud I am to be part of this whole Safer Neighbourhood structure seeing such dedicated activity from all agencies and residents committed to this process.
