Dog pooh again and Pride in Purewell and Stanpit

On my regular walk-a-bout in Purewell and Stanpit I have again noticed the increase yet again of dog faeces on pavements especially along Purewell. As a result I have notified my team and again they will be out and about trying to spot these irresponsible dog owners and for us to recommence our campaign to illiminate this disgusting habit. I should mention that we have already fined perpetrators for this act of littering and as I understand it two persons have simply ignored the correspondence and it will require a court summons to bring them to heal.( deliberate pun!) The resultant publicity will be very interesting, certainly not something one would like against ones name as the matter will be pursued to a conclusion.I was also disappointed to see un-taxed cars and a litter strewn area at just off Purewell where clearly those in current occupancy do not appreciate the housing association accommodation which is in such short supply in our Borough. I suppose that it is indicative of the low level of pride some people have in this great area that we live of Purewell and Stanpit that I have to report my concerns over these issues. What can be done about it?

The allocation of social housing is one of PACT priorities being taken forward from the public meetng a couple of weeks ago.It is the intention of the PACT panel to look into the allocation and conduct of those who misuse their houosing associaiton properties.
