Conservatives save the bus service.
Great news today when DCC announced the details of the new bus service for Christchurch at a meeting in Christchurch. This following the 'gun to the head' decision of a certain bus company to withdraw services. So C1 C2 AND X12 are restored with a better timetable and a Saturday service. All credit to the leader Alan Griffiths and Cllr. Nick Geary who have worked hard on this initiative supported by us foot-soldiers.I just can't wait for the Liberal Party (Christchurch Cell) to issue leaflets claiming credit for the new service to add to all the other claims they are making especially as not one Liberal Borough Councillor attended the meeting. So the route to the hospital is restored and the Stanpit bus stops will be seen to be busy again. We listened and acted and worked for the community and will continue to do so. An good example of where strong representation at County brings dividends to the Christchurch Community. Just think what we could achieve if we had five strong Conservative Councillors at Dorchester.
