Christchurch Bowling Green

Despite assurances from Christchurch Borough Council and their discussions with the bowling club and clear and precise statements from the Conservative Group our Liberal Party (Christchurch Cell) seem to be trying to make this matter a County Council election issue.I can only assume that they reckon that by creating this red herring they will divert the residents attention from the fact that after twelve years at County Christchurch has little or nothing to show for their representation at Dorchester. What will get results is a strong Conservative team of five Councillors who are prepared to stand up for Christchurch especially is the areas of highways, Christchurch Schools for Christchurch children, crime and disorder and all the other issues you have highlighted in your tea bag survey returns sent back earlier this year.Just like the designation of a footpath that was designated fifty years ago (see earlier blog)the matter of the bowling green is a fabricated issue designed to draw a veil over the way they have ignored key matters which could have brought real benefits to Christchurch residents. This notwithstanding the fact that there has been no system of reporting just what they have been doing at County for all these years. Time for a change I think.
