Christchurch Community Safety Officer wins award

Natalie Minns CBC Community Safety Officer and Inspector Andy Early have jointly been recognised for their work on Diversity in the Community with a prestigious award from Dorset Police. This award recognises the work done and initiatives taken in their striving to make Christchurch a more inclusive community for example, introducing early intervention programs which reach out to all groups especially the young and vulnerable. I was delighted to hear of this accolade as it further highlights the progressive nature of our Safer Neighbouhood Management programs in Christchurch and sends that warm glow of satisfaction through all those involved in this difficult arena.I have passed my congratulations to Natalie with the warning that she must avoid at all costs doing a 'Kate Winslet' when she receives the award on 24th February.Great news to start the year.
When you see her give her a pat on the back!
