Speeding Traffic in the Area

Further reports are coming in about drivers ignoring the new calming system in Stanpit. As a result I have asked PC Brooks to extend up his monitoring rate so that his presence is a bit more visible. Also he is going to be out and about with his speed camera over the next few weeks so beware those that think that they can use our village as a race track.Specific areas will be targeted including Pauntly Road where traffic has apparently increased probably as a result of the traffic control at the Avonmouth.Traffic speed is high on the PACT priority list and the Police have been charged to deal with offenders in such a way as to deter them from re-offending. If you see a blatant case of ignoring either the speed limit or the traffic signals, which are lawful and therefore actionable, see if you can take a note of the vehicle number and pass it to me,Sparky or PC Brooks.
