The Constables House

You may remember an earlier blog about a discussion with resident Sue Newman concerning the par less state of the Constables house. Well I looped Cllr.Denise Jones (Christchurch Heritage Champion)into the discussion and she has confirmed that English Heritage, who are ultimately responsible for this artifact, have taken the matter very seriously and are undertaking surveys to establish what is happening and more importantly what can be done to preserve this building.Well done to Denise lets hope this is dealt with quickly before any more damage is done. Sue has also added her concerns to EH so good work done all round. Thanks Sue.
