Remembrance day at Purewell Cross

My sincere thanks to all those who braved the weather for the short service at Purewell on Sunday. The event, so important in my eyes, was better attended than last year although numbers were lower than my expectations.I would have loved to see some youngsters at Purewell but was slightly more encouraged that the Priory was bursting at the seams with representatives from all of our community groups. The high Street was crowded for the procession, so well organised by the British Legion and the service thought provoking and emotional. Certainly a day not to miss and a credit to Christchurch.
