Can anyone come up with an idea as to how to protect this ancient monument? It seems to be disappearing before my eyes! I have seen youngsters climbing all over it and seen also bits of the wall being dislodged as a result. Sue Newman from Town Centre is also concerned and has put this matter to TC PACT committee for action so the matter has been flagged up but with no result. CBC Heritage Champion Cllr Denise Jones has also been informed of my concerns and I think we need to generate some momentum to see that the building or what remains of it is properly protected.
Without treading on someone else's toes, does anyone know if such an organisation or direction has already been initiated?
