Purewell and Stanpit Crime survey.

Stand by for results from the survey recently included with the 'Great Place to Live' leaflet.Early indications are that the work that Lucy and I have been doing with the Police and other partners has paid off big time. Many more of us are less effected by ASB than last year and 'fear of crime' appears to be much reduced. Details will follow.

As Chairman for the Purewell & Stanpit PACT, One of the priorities submitted to our partners from the last meeting is the current wave of ASB in Purewell Meadows and adjacent area, along with Scott's Hill Lane, and the Two Rivermeet Skate Park. Also on the curent list for the Police is Stanpit Rec. and Mudeford Lane. all these have now been passed to the relevant partners for action. Barry Sherwin, Chairman, Purewell & Stanpit PACT.

Thanks Baz, see my appeal for help from all residents to deal
with this problem. You may be interested in speaking to Your CPSO who is heading up the reaction to these problems.
In simple terms we are not having this sort of behaviour and will not let it affect the wellbeing of our community. But just one thought what parent in their right mind would let children run free at 9pm in the dark. If we can answer that one we will find the answer to the problem!!!
