Solent Radio and TV and the grey pound

I was delighted to see the positive coverage about Christchurch 'bucking the trend' on Southern Television and to listen to good Christchurch citizens extolling the virtues of the High Street experience on Monday on Solent radio. It makes such a change to see Christchurch put into its proper place in terms of economic success and destination experience. It would be even better if the program had resulted from my reaction to the negative Top Gear program but in reality I think not! It happened because Christchurch is really doing rather well and that should be celebrated. So, thanks to the producers and directors but real thanks to all the contributors that spoke about what a great place to live this ancient town is.
