Partnership Office accommodation.
Readers will be aware that a report will be brought to Council committee shortly detailing the options considered for the future office accommodation of the partnership. A great deal of analysis has been undertaken and midnight oil burned in coming to the list of options detailed. Members will have full opportunity to debate as normal through the committee before deciding on the preferred option and proceeding to involve/inform their residents. Officers have again delivered their promises made in the agreed timeline about resolving this issue. I am going to be very interested as to how the direction proposed is greeted by those who have been highly angst and depressingly critical about the future of Christchurch Council. Clearly the news of the latest settlement resulting in a 40% cut in funding from central government (and as predicted in previous blogs) has relevance. These are very hard times for local government, very unsettling for officers and requiring innovative solutions from members to maintain the level of service to our community.

Sir
If you care to look at the comments section of the article in last night's Echo, you will fing I have responded.

Are you aware that the word 'angst' is misused in this article? 'Highly angst' is hardly literate (and nonsense to boot). 'Highly angered' would be better phraseology. 'Angst' is a noun, and you need a verb. You show angst, you don't do angst.
Thanks 'Teach' very useful.
