Geothermal versus wind farms

It seems that the conclusions from the CBC renewable energy conference are being taken up. Our portfolio holder for the environment was asked to do a radio interview last week which I heard and which was brilliant and we have been quoted in press outlets including a very technical journal whose name escapes me but is apparently very influential in scientific circles. Add to that the internal punch up that is going on in central government about whether we should be subsidising more inconsistent wind farms either on or off shore, and I think we might have touched a nerve.
