Christchurch High Street
Great news, two more new businesses have opened up in the High Street one of which is a very stylish ladies and gentleman’s clothes shop. The other one is in Saxon Square selling up market furnishings. So the increase in footfall seen throughout our so called summer is starting to work. Compared with some high streets in the country ours is positively buoyant. All we need now is the library to be finished and occupied with community projects, Saxon Square to be refurbished, Wick Lane post office site to start development so that we can then work on the improvement of the whole High Street experience for residents and visitors. I also noticed an empty shop being refurbished in Purewell, this an estate agents selling bungalows. The point is that Christchurch is bucking the trend!
