Off shore wind farm and Christchurch initiatives with renewable energy alternatives.

If you have read this blog over the last few weeks you will note how concerned I am, and indeed just about everyone I speak to, about the off shore wind farm projected just a few miles off our coastline and supposed to start in 2016. We are organising a conference at CBC with the simple message that 'if we were self sufficient in renewable energy in our conurbations we would not need Navitas'. I can now confirm that the date for this conference is September 20th starting at 10am till 2.0pm. Speakers have been arranged and our p/f holder for the environment will be announcing details at the full Council meeting on Tuesday. Another reason for you to attend!
