Two rivers meet golf area.

I read a piece in the paper about our Scrutiny of the commercial contribution made by the golf course against the costs to the Council taxpayer. This issue will be subject to further review but does indicate how seriously we are regarding established extra services in respect of their effect on the Council budget. Given that land use in this area is very limited is may well be the case that the area could be returned to the wild. I do not think that we should be frightened of that, space of this kind is very rare, the views from the footpath are sensational and by opening the area to walkers/ twitchers et al it may fit in very nicely with the corporate health and well being issues. So early days and no need to panic but I for one would be very keen to find new and innovative usages which would benefit more of the community. Ideas on a post-card please.
