Emotionally drained

I have been away in wilds of Lincolnshire to attend to the funeral of my sister who died on New Years day. Apart from the resulting consideration of ones own mortality, this has proved to be a very testing three days and I have returned home emotionally drained. Notwithstanding this is going to be a very busy week so I just as well get on with it although it will take some time to get used to being the last of my immediate family. It was good however to spend some time with the extended family including those from New Zealand and all those lovely guys from Yorkshire.
