Little England

The flight to Bergerac from Southampton takes one hour and twenty . So in eighty minutes I was transported into 28 degrees, an extraordinary historic area with architecture to die for and vistas that made me catch my breath at their beauty. What an amazing place, one that I have always bypassed on the mad dash to the South but now will meander further at another time. And the food; just fabulous, OK a couple of dodgy steaks a bit on the tough side but warm bread in the morning with home made jam made up for those, later canard cooked to perfection accompanied by local Bergerac wine. All just great, now for the diet!
