Travellers at Mudeford on their way!

Sorry folks but I did not shed a tear when we finally moved the travellers from Mudeford Quay. Just what sort of respite we will get following the Steam Fair as they journey on I do not know but our CBC team will be vigilant to ensure incursions like this are avoided. Having said that this year has been as bad as it has ever been for this problem and I think it is to the credit of CBC that we have been able to deal with them as we have. There remains the problem of the clear up, something many residents have commented on as in reality they pick up the bill. I cannot understand why we do not just pass a bye law banning towed caravans from our car parks and claim compensation should the law be broken.
