Saturday surgery

I wanted to blog this early because I shall be canvassing for the rest of the day but this mornings surgery was very productive. Thanks for all my team for keeping me abreast of the issues concerning residents, this is my last surgery in this Council period, the next one will be held following the May 5th election, but of course only if I am re-elected. To say I finished on a high is an understatement, the difference from four years ago remarkable, then negative, negative and more negative today all positives with residents coming up with solutions and good ideas to make Purewell and Stanpit an even better place to live. I came into this business wanting to give something back to the community and what I am seeing is a community responding in such a way as to make the allocation of my time so worthwhile. Just a brilliant morning even though I was not feeling too bright after the Mayors bash at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel last night. Thanks everyone.
