Saturday surgery

Quite a few issues covered this week some private and confidential. More complaints raised about dog fouling especially in Livingstone down to Purewell Meadows. I have agreed to get patrols along there as quickly as possible.
The history society have asked if they can erect a plaque to commemorate the opening of the Convent Walk 100 years ago and I am dealing. The footpaths running across Purewell Meadow were an issue and I was able to explain that work would start in the next month or so. Our fencing project at the Ship in Distress SNCI has not been awarded funding and will not therefore proceed as expected. This is very disappointing and I will continue to lobby.A very useful interchange with a number of residents meant that this was a good use of time. My thanks as always to Gilbert and the team at St Johns.
