Saturday Surgery
Our surgery will take place on Saturday at 10am at St Johns Church. I am looking forward to wishing my visitors a happy new year and dealing with the issues which will be raised. The recycle bins at Stanpit Marsh is one. Whilst we are on this subject you may not have noticed the planting of saplings which we nogotiated as part of the tree management at the car park. They look resplendant and will contribute to the sylvan nature of the area as they mature. Well done CBC they kept their promise. I am seeking funding for another initiative on the marsh details of which I will publish if I am successful in raising the money needed. You will be very pleased to hear that indications are that we had a very peaceful and relatively crime free Christmas period with the 'Protect' early intervention programm again applied to Town Centre and other likely hot spots. Details will be available shortly and I will publish when they are confirmed. I can say however that I am very happy that what we are doing is bringing crime and disorder dividends in abundance.
