Recycle bins at Stanpit Marsh

I have long been concerned about the presence the recycle bins bring to this important gateway to Stanpit Marsh. This has been further compounded by the vandal caused fire which raged on Saturday requiring attention from the fire service. Also the odd bags of rubbish which are regularly dumped next to the bins which contain food waste and stuff which the bins are not designed for.The lorries that deliver the bins cut up the surface of the green they are placed on and the result is frankly a complete mess. When I last raised this matter I was told that I had to find an alternative position and this I have now done that is opposite the 2RM car park on the commercial side where there is plenty of room to park and for the bins. It does have the benefit also of CCTV. I intend to take this issue up again unless residents wish otherwise.
