This event surprised us all in terms of the support of Dorset residents, the involvement from all corners of Dorset and as a result the extraordinary volume and range of the questions asked. Whilst I was full of trepidation that some unexpected electronic gremlin would take us off air, apart from some minor glitches the two hours flew by trouble free. Most gratifying was the interest and support from all districts and boroughs shown by interested residents and they asked some challenging questions. Just one more thing, this idea came from a brain storming session by the CSP support and communications team. It was innovative and risky to say the extreme but they saw it through following masses of hard work and preparation. What I loved about it was the level of real excitement as we hit the first button and growing satisfaction through the evening as the whole team realised that we had cracked it.
We learned a lot which will help us when we arrange the next one.
