Saturday morning surgery

St John's is not quite ready for us so I am afraid we will have to use the PACT vehicle again. So this coming Saturday at 10am until 11am I will be at Purewell Cross as usual.

Elected to Christchurch Borough Council in May 2007 ,May 2011and May 2015 for the Ward of Purewell and Stanpit I have worked hard to represent the views of the constituents. Special interests include following residents petitions and consultation include speed reduction in Stanpit, retaining bus services and traffic and parking management. Overseeing the development of the Stanpit marsh visitors centre, the installation of all weather pitches at Two Rivers Meet and the adjacent BMX park completed in 2009 following design input from the young users. Initiating investment in the Two Rivers Meet gym facility and overseeing the success of this highly rated community facility and recently the new nine hole golf facility. Protection of our valuable environmental reserves including Stanpit Marsh and Purewell Meadows and obtaining investment to enhance the Stanpit recreation ground including the upgrading of the car park. Management is still my priority and residents have seen the benefits of a far more pro-active role by Councillors in dealing head on with problems.
