Yesterdays surgery

A very quiet surgery yesterday probably due to the extremely cold wind and very different from last months. However the visitors we did get were fulsome in their praise about how so much better the area is now as a result of all the hard work put in especially in respect of anti-social behaviour. CBC have to be applauded in the way that the whole Community Safety Team has reacted to our concerns as does Twynham Housing Association who now work in close partnership with us. Support also for the stand I took over SMP2 and the resulting change of policy. Regrettably, no one was exercised about the crossing at Purewell, as I was hoping that those determined to lose the parking places outside the convenience store would have popped in for a chat. Equally, the improvement in street cleaning was highlighted and so when I left at 11.15am I was comfortable with the progress being made to make Purewell and Stanpit a very special place to live and visit. Thanks to all my team and now we look to an emerging spring which is easily my favourite time of the year.
