A busy week at Council

This week is extremely busy with two major committee meetings namely Community Services and Planning Control as well as the Architects panel and my quarterly meeting with CBC Community safety team. At Community services we shall be debating the public consultation returns regarding the 'dogs on leads' issue for Stanpit marsh and making a decision as to where the Council is going with this matter. At Planning the final scheme is in for the departure lounge at Bournemouth Airport which should provide some interesting debate. Added to this the general items which crop up from residents and Council and the looming prospect of a General Election which is exercising a lot of minds at present and the week will just fly by. The finish will be the surgery on Saturday where I hope to meet concerned residents and deal with any problems that are troubling them.
