Homewatch award

What great news to cheer us up in this dire winter that Christchurch Borough Homewatch has been awarded the highly rated 'best Homewatch in Dorset'. CBHW senior coordinator Barry Sherwin and Chairman Bernie Davis have done a great job as have all the rest of the committee and those on the front line, so to speak, who have pulled together to make this Borough a safe place to live. Credit should also go to our local Police team and to CBC for giving such invaluable support. There is still great deal to do to get the message out to a wider audience but this considerable pat on the back from Dorset Police is a great encouragement to make CBHW bigger and better. Well done to everyone involved just a glimpse at the latest crime figures will show how effective they have been in sustaining Christchurch as a place where time is pleasant.
