Todays surgery
A very quiet time at today's surgery, I am not sure if this is because all is well in the neighbourhood or maybe residents have other priorities on a Saturday morning but anyway we were there to deal with today's problems and a big thank you to all those who did pop in to see us. The issues raised will be dealt with in the next few days. I was delighted to see the no-parking cones located in Purewell Close, lets hope this makes a difference to the residents who have been having a tough time lately in respect of drivers parking cars half on pavements causing real difficulties for pedestrians especially those with mobility devices. More concerns about speeding traffic which is always high on our agenda and yet more concerns about the relocation of the lamp posts under the new lighting system installed by County. Cllr.Lucy Filer is dealing with this one, it should be noted that CBC have no say in this matter and can only react when residents are concerned. Finally expect to see posters along Purewell again raising the issue of dog faeces left on the pavement by irresponsible dog owners, I am sure this is one or two owners who regularly use this route and we are going to find out who they are. If we have to prosecute we will as this form of littering is just unacceptable.
