Keep your eyes open.

I was contacted yesterday by one of our eagle eyed Homewatch members following what appeared to be a shop lifting scam in Christchurch High Street.He and his wife saw two ladies walking very unsteadily across the road, initially he thought they might be a bit tipsy. As they walked with great difficulty across to a waiting car outside the HSBC Bank it became apparent that they were hiding something under their rather full skirts.As they got to the car my mate saw one lady pull a pair of boots from under her skirt and the other one a pair of shoes from under hers. The waiting driver, another lady immediately roared off and the last my mate saw was these two ladies inspecting their trophies in the back of the car. Quite how far they had walked with the boots and shoes between their legs is not certain nor is how the footwear remained secure and undetected by the shopkeeper as they exited the store. CCTV may reveal the car number and Police and the NHS have been informed!
