Anti-social behaviour officer
It is particularly encouraging to see how our new Anti-social Behaviour Officer is bringing a new energy to the resolution of some long standing problems. Already, positive intervention by our safer neighbourhood teams and improved communications with troubled residents is resulting in a flow of valuable information which is essential if we are to make inroads into this difficult area. Residents do see a reaction to their complaints which is also important to the whole process of letting us know where the issues affecting wellbeing are. The message is simple, please continue to feed information directly or through your PACT team and Homewatch. In Purewell and Stanpit we are beginning to see a considerable increase in reported incidents, this as a result of the high profile of our SNT and our residents who are now not hesitating to let us know what is going on. Our determination to deal with this matter is well recorded and requires partnership with all agencies and residents, this partnership has to be founded on good communications so that initiatives can be co-ordinated to make a difference.
