I have had a complaint regarding the residue of last years bonfire and firework night held on the marsh. The complaint is about the state of the field as a result of the scorched earth and that the Council should be held responsible for restoring the ground following this event. Last year nature took it's course and the scar healed quickly this year has not been so fast in the natural restoration. As a result there is still evidence of the fire and this particular complainant finds this offensive. Are any other of you that think that we should divert resources to deal with this matter?

Having put up with the anti social brigade in the past when the event has finished, and the damage that is being caused to the recreation ground, plus the cost of cleaning it up, isn't it time to call it a day.
