The Rosie Havers crossing

The final issue which could affect the installation of the new crossing at Purewell Cross has just been tick boxed with County confirming that the footfall figures, which determine whether or not sufficient people will use the crossing, have been monitored by County highways and found to be in excess of the minimum limits. So this means that we will now see engineers prowling around the area with furrowed brows trying to work out the best position for all the gubbings that make up a safe crossing area. As far as I know the Feb date is still on but don't hold your breath. Still, a great result for all those people including school kids that risk life and limb trying to cross this road.
My next objective is to try and get a safe crossing zone on the spur road, so watch this space!
