Saturday Surgery

In order to make life a bit easier we are changing the surgery times. What is happening is that over the period of the current two hours many people drift in and out and can miss meeting other residents with similar or different problems. As our surgery is based on the principle of community working and includes Pact and the Police this is a bit of a shame. So we will open the surgery from 10am to 11am thus concentrating on getting residents there at the same time. We will stay as long as the meeting requires. One feature yesterday, which was a theme through the whole morning, was the outrageous claims being made by the Liberals on so called achievements in P&S in particular and Christchurch in general. The facts are clear in P&S they did nothing for nigh on eight years but just let the ward go down hill, and in Christchurch their representation on Christchurch Council has been to say the least fragmented and has contributed nothing. To criticise CBC for their overall rating is quite ridiculous when they have been part of the management process. In reality they just have not bothered to get involved, debate or contribute.
