County Councillor tries to devide a community

In a recent publication the Liberal Party (Christchurch Cell) refer to their great achievement of supporting the designation of a footpath that was designated over 50 years ago. Any reasonable resident would see the funny side of this outrageous statement and confine it to the bin, but the statement goes further to claim that ''residents are being intimidated when using the path'' and this is very concerning. I would not think that it is part of the duties of a County Councillor who claims to have represented the ward for twelve years, with nothing to show,to make divisive statements in print which do everything to create community unrest. My reaction would have been quite the reverse.
