Bowling Green

I was astonished to see that with the advice of the Liberal Party (Christchurch Cell) a petition headlined 'Save our Bowling Green'was being distributed. I was amazed because there is no plan, suggestion, request or anything else one could describe as threatening to this location.This matter has been raised as a last minute red herring to divert attention from the fact that after twelve years of representation at the highest level of local government, our Liberal(Christchurch Cell)have achieved nothing. This is another 'bandwagon' with no relevance to County elections and is an irrelevance to the main issue of getting County Councillors into Dorchester that will stand up for Christchurch and deliver against an agenda based on the demands of the population and an agenda that represents a fair deal for hard earned taxpayers money. If this is not the case and the Liberal Party (Christchurch Cell ) are able to tell us just what twelve years of their representation has delivered then let them do it. It would be nice for the public to have at least one report from them of what they have been doing and what meetings they have attended so that we can work out if we are getting value for the money it costs to have them represent us. I hardly like to mention expenses!!!
