Sparky runs the marathon

Well done to Martin Sparks for completing the 26 miles on Sunday. Dressed in resplendent yellow Lycra he tramped round the course trying to attract the TV cameras. Unfortunately I don't think he was picked out by Sue Barker as requiring special attention so we did not see his cheery face on television.Never the less it was a great achievement and my congratulations go out to him. He may appear a bit slower on his beat this week as the blisters and chaffing in his nether regions give him a bit of gip. As to how much he raised more of that when he has added up the total sum.Well done Martin from your Community Partners.
