Homewatch recruitment days

Saxon Square will be the venue for two full days of activities designed to get more households in Christchurch to sign up to the Homewatch program. Keep march 14th and 21st free so that you can meet Homewatch and the partners that make up the Safer Neighbourhood team.Promotion for this event will be considerable, we will see contributions from the Police, CBC and other organisations all working to make Christchurch an even safer and nicer place to live. Purewell and Stanpit will be doing something similar at Purewell Cross on 11th and 19th March. By expanding Homewatch we can make sure that the eyes and ears of the community deter those persons who see a future in or get some satisfaction, from causing harm to the community via criminal or anti-social activities.This includes ant-social driving, littering and mindless vandalism, we are making great inroads to the problems which were paramount two years ago at the Council election.Now we are fighting back, join us!
