Buses in Stanpit

I have asked Council leader Cllr. Alan Griffiths for an official CBC statement on the current situation re C1 and C2. I note that W&D have announced fare increases to a ridiculous £4 for a single ticket and have stated that this was following consultation with CBC. That is news to me cos I happen to know that CBC has written to them expressing their astonishment and disappointment that W&D have again taken a unilateral decision at a time when they were supposed to be liaising with CBC to establish a way forward.Meanwhile we await DCC findings as to their negotiations with W&D and all the other companies and of course what is going to happen in Feb when W&D decide what to do with C1 and C2. I have expressed my real concern to Cllr.Griffiths regarding this matter and I know he is pro-active in his dealings with W&D bus company. More to come I suspect.
