Crime and Disorder Partnership

CDRP is a statutory body, made up of agencies that have a responsibility to see that crime and disorder is kept to an absolute minimum in Eastern Dorset. This includes Police,Fire four local authorities, probation, Dorset NHS and County. As chair I have to oversee and deliver against set targets included in a three year plan for seven priorities all of which were decided following detailed consultation with responsible officers and from information and statistics gathered from official crime stats and from locality issues. All of this is included in a booklet just published titled Community Safety Plan for East Dorset. It is available from libraries, Council Offices and at last resort me. It is free and details what we are doing to ensure that East Dorset and especially Christchurch maintains the position of safest place in the United Kingdom.CDRP is a strategy and policy making body and and as such overseas all aspects of Crime and Disorder policies, to check these out get a copy of the plan, a very good read.
This explanation following a request by one of my readers.
