Vehicle Crime in the area.
As the nights draw in and Christmas approaches we should all be aware of the potential for increased acquisitive crime. In the past, this time of the year sees a dramatic increase in burglaries and theft from vehicles. Now, in Christchurch generally and Purewell and Stanpit in particular we do not have a massive problem but it is always a prudent decision to remove all personal items from parked cars and make sure your house and outside buildings are secure. If you have alarms use them also join and support Homewatch so that should you see anything that concerns you it can be reported and Police can be made aware. We are at present winning the battle against wellbeing crime and I want to make big inroads into domestic theft. Please join me in partnership to achieve this objective.
